The 'Join the Movement' campaign was an active lifestyle initiative launched by Sport England and aimed to encourage people from all walks of life to get involved in physical activity, regardless of age, ability, or background. As part of the project, Grenfell AFC, a community football team composed of players affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster, participated in the campaign to promote recreational football among young men. This campaign came in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, which caused millions of people to drop out of regular exercise due to lockdown regulations. It featured 17 sports in total, with the Grenfell AFC segment shot at the Westway in London. The project spanned three months and involved over 200 participants across the country and the Images were provided as a free resource to promote overall participation in physical activity. The campaign had a positive impact, with many community groups and organisations continuing to promote the benefits of an active lifestyle.
